Straight Arm Morris Chair Straight Arm Morris Chair
This is a chair I have wanted to make for some time and recently got the opportunity. A lot of thought and trial and error went into the design. It is every bit as comfortable as my Bow-Arm version and includes some style variations. Shown in Sapele.
Blanket Chest Blanket Chest
This frame and panel blanket chest has a curly red birch frame with panels of maple burl. The cedar lined bottom keeps the insects at bay. The soft-close lid stays insure no slammed fingers.
Contemporary Entry Hall Bench Contemporary Enrty Hall Bench
This bench, in walnut with a leather seat, is the perfect place to sit and take off your shoes. The cubbies give you room to put them and the roomy, divided drawer holds hats and mittens.
Terry's Sideboard Terry's Bow Front Sideboard
This sideboard is based on the Bow Front Sideboard. This version differs in that it is significantly larger and replaces the two center drawers with doors hiding a very roomy interior. Shown here in bird's-eye and curly maple.
Mahogany Desk Mahogany Desk
This custom made desk features some beautiful ribbon stripe mahogany. There is a drawer for the printer, one for files and a power outlet set into the top. The grand upper unit features adjustable shelves and both crown and dentil moldings. This piece was a challenge both to make and to get into the small Brooklyn apartment it was made for.
Contemporary Coffee Table Contemporary Coffee Table
This coffee table is cherry and bird's-eye maple. The drawer blends perfectly into the apron from which it was cut and operates on a touch latch so there is no handle needed or visible. The top is inset for the addition of a piece of 1/4" glass.
Ship's Dining Table Ship's Dining Table
This table was made for a customer's private yacht. It folds out of the way when not in use and has two nine inch leaves for entertaining. The box on top provides additional storage.
Curly Red Birch Writing Desk and Chair

Curly Red Birch Writing Desk and Chair
This desk started out with a spectacular piece of red birch which became the top. I found some even nicer wood for the rest of the piece. The cubby unit on top is a separate piece that echoes the octagonal feel of this very contemporary piece. The drawer fronts and chair back are bird's-eye maple. Arts and Crafts Sideboard Arts and Crafts Sideboard
This sideboard, done in quarter sawn white oak, has a very modern feel while remaining true to its Arts and Crafts roots. The hand-made pulls are ebonized walnut and copper wire.

Cherry Arts and Crafts Sideboard Arts and Crafts Sideboard 2
This version is done in cherry with bird's-eye maple door panels and drawer fronts.
Cherry Pedestal Dining Set Pedestal Table Dining Set
This cherry dining set consists of a 54" round table and 4 chairs. The table becomes a 72" oval when the 18" leaf is inserted.

Ruhlman Inspired Dining Table
This table, in walnut and cherry, was custom designed for a customer who is a fan of the Art Deco designer Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann. It features his trademark "U" shape and very contemporary lines. To maintain structural integrity, we came up with a unique support system to support the top when open with the two leaves in place. click here
Wenge Table

Wenge Table
This table is a step outside the box for me. The top is Wenge, the legs are maple and the aprons are ebonized walnut. The top and stretchers are joined with brass bars and the legs are wrapped in brass wire at the bottom.
